SPONSORSHIP POLICY

NENO AS A SOCIAL ENTERPRISE

As a social enterprise, NENO runs both commercial and social impact programs.  When you subscribe to our service, you are contributing directly to our social mission by:
51% of NENO profit goes to Social Mission
Pay-for-Impact is a term to define an activity of purchase of products / activities to support or contribute directly or indirectly towards social impact.
51% of accumulated profit from paid services and products in NENO eCommerce goes to Social Mission.
30% of Gig Worker are Targeted Beneficiaries
One third of NENO gig worker are from targeted beneficiaries from the underserved communities. They are empowered to become trained caregivers. 
This way, they will be able to improve their life by getting income from providing the home caregiving or companionship service to the clients.
30% of Cost Goes to Social Mission
A collection of sponsorship programs made available by NENO for individuals and corporate sponsors or contributors to contribute directly towards targeted beneficiaries, also known as “Pay-For-Impact” and can be accessed via our eCommerce.  
Sponsors and contributors who opt to Pay-for-Impact in eCommerce are purchasing NENO Products or Services on behalf of the poor, where 30% or more of the cost is reduced for Social Mission programs for the targeted beneficiaries.

NENO AS IMPACT ORGANISER

  • As Impact Organiser, we provide the sponsorship platform for people to Pay-for-Impact as well as an Application Form for targeted beneficiaries to apply for the sponsorship.
  • We are responsible to connect sponsors and collaborators to targeted beneficiaries or the underserved community to thrive and shield their wellbeing.
  • NENO also accepts in-kind or products sponsorship for the targeted beneficiaries. The donation items may include any medical and rehabilitative equipment. 
  • In return for sponsoring any individuals or community targeted beneficiaries, the sponsors / contributors will receive tax exemption receipt from our third-party NGO Partner.
  • We anticipate working with our collaborators from the quadruple helix partners, i.e., the governments, corporations, academia, and the community to achieve NENO Social Mission. 

NENO SOCIAL MISSION

NENO provides the platform for people to contribute directly / indirectly towards our Social Mission, which are;
NENO Outreach

We organise health outreach programs where selected and subsidized NENO Mobile Healthcare services are given to the targeted beneficiaries at their home / community centre / locality towards achieving the long-term social mission objectives. 


a) Short TermTo organize a one-time healthcare assessment or community health program by a team of healthcare team at the targeted beneficiaries' home or community centre


b) Medium TermTo organize regular home visits to targeted beneficiaries' home or regular health outreach to the community centre.


c) Long TermTo revisit the same community of targeted beneficiaries for a period of more than a year, thus making them a foster community.


d) Customize Your OwnCustomize health outreach programs for your organization's purpose.

We organise sponsored NENO Training Programs to the targeted beneficiaries in order to become The Change Agent towards healthy living, healthy ageing and caring society.

LEGAL

No Gift Policy

  • We are dedicated to operating the business with the utmost honesty and strong corporate control. Hence, we practice a “No Gift Policy”, that forbids and prohibits our employees from giving or receiving presents of any kind while interacting with suppliers, clients, business partners, vendors, regulators, potential customers, and potential suppliers or any third parties. 

  • By adhering to this guideline, it enables us to uphold moral corporate conduct, work ethic, moral standards in both our professional interactions and business dealings, while also preventing any potential conflicts of interest.

  • We appreciate your ongoing support and adherence to our  "No Gift Policy" .

Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001 ( AMLA Act 2001 )
  • An Act to provide for the offence of money laundering, the measures to be taken for the prevention of money laundering and terrorism financing offences and to provide for the forfeiture of property involved in or derived from money laundering and terrorism financing offences, as well as terrorist property, proceeds of an unlawful activity and instrumentalities of an offence, and for matters incidental thereto and connected therewith. 

  • This Act shall apply to any serious offence, foreign serious offence or unlawful activity whether committed before or after the commencement date.

  • This act shall apply to any property, whether it is situated in or outside Malaysia.

  • Nothing in this Act shall impose any duty or confer any power on any court in or in connection with any proceedings under this Act against a person for a serious offence in respect of which he has been convicted by a court before the commencement date. 

  • As for Neno, we want to operate in a transparent and ethical manner, as stated in the “ No Gift Policy” above. As a result, in order to avoid any instances of financial mismanagement or misconduct, we, like other businesses, strictly adhere and comply with the AMLA Act 2001.

Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (Amendment) Act 2018
  • We are obliged by Malaysian legislation, thereby, we are committed to acting professionally, fairly, and with integrity in all business operations, as well as to upholding all anti-bribery and corruption legislation, thereupon, we have no tolerance when it comes to bribery and corruption. 

  • Anyone who interacts with us directly or indirectly is responsible for reading, comprehending, and adhering to the policy, as well as observing and supporting the same zero-tolerance stance on bribery and corruption. Bribery or corruption practices or acts will result in severe repercussions, including disciplinary action and prosecution under related law acts.

Figure 1 demonstrates the Sponsorship Process Flow as a guidance for Sponsors or Contributors. Sponsors or Contributors can make payment through eCommerce by opting for Pay-for-Impact tab or book a Free Consultation Session, accessible via NENO website. Sponsors or Contributors (Individual / Organisation) can choose to sponsor NENO Social Mission (Outreach, Academy, Gig) for an individual / a group / a community. NENO also receive sponsorship in-kind in the form of medical / rehab products to be distributed to the targeted beneficiaries.  After the sponsorship transaction, Sponsors or Contributors will receive LHDN Tax Exemption and be able to view the NENO Impact Report on the website once the Social Mission program is completed.

  • You can book us for 20 minutes of free tele-consultation to discuss collaboration / sponsorship activities of NENO Social Mission.

  • Sponsors / Collaborators will also be able to contact our NENO Hotline No via WhatsApp during our business hours. 
c) Point of Contact
  • The primary point of contact for any of sponsorship activities will be through NENO as the Organiser / Platform Owner. Sponsors / Contributors are restricted or prohibited from sharing contacts or communicating directly with Care recipients or targeted beneficiaries and vice versa. 

d) Privacy Notice

  • Trust that all collection and processing of personal data is as per our Privacy Notice. 

NGO Partner (with lhdn tax exemption)

Terms of Use

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the services offered by NENO Sdn. Bhd. (“NENO”) or (“We”, “Us”, “Our” or Our Social Mission), a company incorporated under the laws of Malaysia. 

These Terms of Use, hereinafter referred to as "Terms and Conditions" or "T&C" or "Terms" or "Agreement," along with any other Policy or Statement or Information that may be placed on this website, hereinafter referred to as "Company" or “Website”, “Sponsorship Platform”, “Organiser” or “We” or “Us,” as modified or amended from time to time, are a binding contract between the company and you, an NGO entity form under Societies Act 1966 who donates hereinafter referred to as “NGO Partner(s) or NGO”.

Figure 3 demonstrates the NGO Process Flow as a guidance for NGO. Funds received via Pay-for-Impact tab in NENO Commerce Site will be transferred to the NGO in the same amount. Once the transaction status is confirmed as approved, the NGO will transfer the funds back after deduction of management fee as well as the issuance of LHDN Tax Exemption Receipt to NENO. NENO will send the LHDN Tax Exemption Receipt to Sponsor along with the NENO Impact Report.

  • Underserved Gig Workers

  • Underserved Communities

Figure 4 demonstrates the Targeted Beneficiary Process Flow as a guidance for Targeted Beneficiaries. NENO will refer the source of the beneficiary list to Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM), Community Leaders, etc. for status verification. Next, Community Outreach is conducted to brief on subsidized healthcare services and training offered by NENO for underserved community. An agreement form will be distributed by NENO to be filled out by beneficiaries. Lastly, NENO will run Social Mission Activities only for eligible beneficiaries and publish the activities in our Impact Report.

The targeted beneficiaries will be briefed during our Community Outreach program in which we will organise based on locality and through engagement with the community leader.

VALUE OF SPONSORSHIP / DONATION

Value of Sponsorship

The rate of sponsorship or donations that we offered is as specified in eCommerce (Pay-for-Impact), which can be found on our official website. We provide a one-time service as well as a package

Value of In-Kind or Medical / Rehab Equipment

The beneficiary is not informed of the value of in-kind or sponsored medical / rehabilitation equipment, but the value is documented for audit and impact report purposes. 

Transportation and Delivery Fee
  • All Social Mission Program values are inclusive of transportation fee and delivery fee (within Klang Valley only), if any. 
  • Additional fee will be borne by the sponsors and arranged accordingly for areas other than Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya.

NENO SERVICE POLICY 

  • Service fulfilment / product delivery of NENO sponsorship initiative will conform to NENO Service Policy

  • Sponsor confirmation, fulfilment, cancellation, modification, and refund will be discussed and communicated effectively between sponsor / contributor and targeted beneficiaries.

By subscribing to or using our sponsorship platform, you agree that you have read, understood, and are bound by the Terms and Conditions, regardless of how you subscribe to or use our products or services. If you do not want to be bound by the terms, you must not subscribe to or use our services.
